In the beginning of last year, me and my friend Nettie (also a huge fan of Staffan) decided to plan a get-together
with the fans from Bosson.net.
We all had been talking to eachother on the computer for a long time and thought it would be fun to finally meet eachother.
The original plan wasnīt to have Staffan there at all, It was just going to be us fans gossiping about Staffan
the whole time ;)
But I mentioned our plans to Staffan, a few months before the get-together was going to take place and he
thought it sounded like a great idea and wanted to come aswell.
My first thought was “ Yeah, right, like thatīs ever going to happen”.
I wasnīt doubting that he wanted to come…but Staffan is a busy man, I just thought
he would forget about it.
And you donīt want to get your hopes up anyway…..
So the months of planning finally came to an end and the day of The
Get-Together arrived on 16 July.
We became a nice little group of 11 people, from the north of Sweden to the south, we even had a few Germans which
was great.
After keeping in contact with Staffan the past months it was now clear that he was going to be able to come to the
dinner we had planned at a lovely little restaurant called Pasta Plus in Gothenburg.
But no one other than Me and Nettie knew that he was going to come.
At 7 oīclock that evening we where all going to meet at the restaurant and when we got inside I got a phonecall.
It was Staffan who had gotten lost and didnīt know where to go. After a few minutes he found his way though and it
was priceless to see everyones surprising faces when they were sitting at the table and we walked in with the guest of honour!
It was great to meet and put a face to the people youīve been talking to on the site for so long (even if I had
met most of you before).
Staffan entertained all of us the whole evening (he must have been so tired the poor thing!) and
didnīt make anyone feel leftout.
I had the chance to share an icecream with Staffan, but happend to be outside at the time
and got in a couple of minutes too late, Iīm still soooo disapointed about that! =)
The food was great and if coming to our get-together wasnīt enough, Staffan payed for everything aswell!
The photosession we had after dinner was totally unbelieveble!
I donīt know how long we posed, but lets just say that my face was hurting like h*ll and I laughted like crazy!
Since no one was expecting Staffan to come to the dinner,
we had no expectations on how long he was going to stay either. Maybe an hour or two would have been nice...but he ended up
staying for 5 hours!
He was supposed to go and celebrate a friends birthday, but called him and said he was going
to stop by later, then he had us all singing Happy Birthday in the phone to his friend..it didnīt sound that good, but it
was fun =)
When I got home that night I was so tired, but so happy that all the planning payed of and the evening
turned out so great!
Iīm sure everyone went home with a smile on their face that night.
To everyone that couldnīt join us this time....I better see you at the next
get- together!
